I had Sarah as my English teacher and I had great fun with her.
She prepared small quizzes for us and when we were right we got chocolate;)
I was looking forward to the classes with her, because I never felt that "I had to
go to class". It was more like talking to your friends and learning English at
the same time. And I did learn a lot from her.'
Sophisticated phrases or idioms....
All English lessons were a fine mix of grammar and tenses on the one hand
and a "discussion part" to train reading and speaking more fluently on the other side.
The grammar parts were well structured by starting with more or less easy and basic exercises
and finished with enhanced level.
Discussions are what I liked most, because our teacher always chose current topics to talk about
and by reading the article we get in contact with new words,
sophisticated phrases or idioms.
